Raptor Insights is dedicated to promoting the conservation of raptors – birds of prey – through expanding public knowledge and appreciation of the diversity of raptors, their role in the environment, factors affecting their populations, and approaches to their conservation. We attempt to communicate our collective lifelong experiences admiring and working with raptors, including environmental education, rehabilitation, falconry, captive breeding, banding, and species survival efforts, through a variety of educational approaches to address specific interests. Finally, we exhibit live raptors as ambassadors for our mission, most of which are non-releasable due to physical limitations, age, or other conditions.
